Job Requirements

  • Pre-employment drug testing including marijuana and controlled substances
  • abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
  • participate in emergency and safety training essential for ship operation
  • temporary employment limited to 28 weeks
  • comply with company grooming and conduct standards
  • willingness to perform extended hours and physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • have the ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, seven days a week, up to 28 weeks
  • meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • adhere to grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
  • relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring proper presentation
  • perform additional functions such as greeting guests on embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
