Job Requirements

Pre-employment drug testing including marijuana and controlled substances
abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
participate in emergency and safety training essential for ship operation
temporary employment limited to 28 weeks
comply with company grooming and conduct standards
willingness to perform extended hours and physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

Be at least eighteen years of age
be an American citizen or Green Card holder
have the ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, seven days a week, up to 28 weeks
meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
adhere to grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings

Job Duties

Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
cater to all culinary requests efficiently
acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring proper presentation
perform additional functions such as greeting guests on embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
