Job Requirements
- minimum age of sixteen years
- possession of a 10th grade education or equivalent or sufficient work experience
- at least 1 year experience in serving or food service
- knowledge of health and safety policies
- freedom from illegal drugs
- freedom from effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
- no legal history of abuse or neglect in health care
- demonstration of effective time management
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- take resident meal orders and serve meals correctly and efficiently
- provide exceptional customer service while engaging with coworkers and residents
- bring awareness for food allergies and preferences to ensure correct meals
- deliver meals, food and drinks to residents and their guests efficiently and professionally
- clean and reset dining, food service and resident room areas
- engage with residents and community members with charm, professionalism, respect and a bright personality
- maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation, ingredients and presentation methods
- relay messages from residents to kitchen about dining needs and special requests
- use technology to communicate between residents and kitchen effectively
- perform customer service, food service and communication responsibilities
