Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to sales and event management
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales processes and technologies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality sales

- Knowledge of hotel event planning and revenue management preferred

Job Duties
- Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times
- Respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers, delivering clear and concise communication
- Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, proactive planning, and organizational savvy with attention to detail
- Maintain existing assigned accounts/segments and develop new business for the hotel
- Monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details, tracking and communicating particulars for each account, group, or event
- Assist with projects, reports, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and supervision of employees as directed
- Work with internal and external partners to forecast group rooms and food and beverage revenues
- Gain knowledge of hotel’s food and beverage products, pricing, presentation, function space, audio visual, and other event-related details
- Attain sales activity and revenue goals through proactive and reactive calls, tours, and appointments
- Use digital sales systems and understand hotel sales strategies
- Participate in internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, and training
- Work in a unified and collaborative way fostering teamwork and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Own career development for self and direct reports
- Carry out reasonable requests made by management and comply with company policies and procedures
