Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Six years leadership experience in customer service, operations, or hospitality
  • Knowledge of commercial, product, and brand strategies including onboard service design and food service
  • Available for moderate overnight travel up to 20 percent
  • Able to work flexible hours and available for emergency response on short notice
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment
  • Authorization to work in the US required
  • Position not eligible for visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Six years leadership experience in customer service, operations, or hospitality
  • Knowledge of commercial, product, and brand strategies including onboard service design and food service
  • Experience managing budgets preferred
  • Experience managing daily catering and provisioning operations preferred
  • Practical experience with aircraft interior and galley equipment development preferred
  • Experience with charter operations, onboard programs, business partner management, and revenue generation preferred
  • Completion of JetBlue Airways Inflight Training program preferred

Job Duties

  • Set and publish system-wide standards and business processes for safe catering operations
  • Create catering operations performance metrics aligned with corporate customer experience goals
  • Administer standards including independent auditing programs in all catering locations
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements and automation in catering operations
  • Direct strategic ordering of galley equipment and maintain associated budget
  • Lead aircraft stowage and galley designs including equipment like ovens and carts
  • Direct aircraft galley volume and crewmember workspace requirements
  • Create open forums for inflight crewmembers regarding catering operations
  • Partner with IT, inflight, airports, and other divisions to ensure operational continuity
  • Partner with product teams to oversee onboard service standards and experience
  • Transition and build catering operations team to manage daily operations and financial optimization
  • Develop long-term catering operations strategy for growth and partner accountability
  • Grow the inflight catering operations team professionally and personally
  • Partner with product to enhance onboard ancillary revenue programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
