Job Requirements
- must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- minimum three years prior skilled food preparation/service experience
- knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques
- ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English
- ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system

Job Duties
- perform meal assembly, service and delivery
- assist with catering operations
- ensure dishwashing and sanitation standards are met
- maintain kitchen safety practices
- assist in training new food service workers
- follow food service protocols and procedures
- communicate effectively with team members and other departments
