Job Requirements

  • Open availability preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4 years of cooking experience
  • ability to follow complex recipes
  • capable of working varied shifts
  • ability to train and oversee junior staff
  • punctuality and regular attendance
  • physical ability to perform cooking tasks and stand for extended periods

  • 4 or more years of related work experience preferred

  • strong communication skills
  • passion for food preparation and customer service

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Follow complex recipes and/or product directions
  • Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
  • May have oversight over the production staff training and assigning tasks
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
