Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have valid and current California Guard Card and training certificates
- Subject to a background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- Pass a drug screening as permitted by law
- Availability for overnight shifts including Fridays and Saturdays
- Ability to follow site-specific policies and emergency procedures
- Possess good communication skills
- Licensing requirements as mandated by state or local regulations
- Valid driver's license only if driving is required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid and current California Guard Card and training certificates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate security technology, including CCTV and alarm systems
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to remain calm and handle emergency situations effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location front desk
- Staff the front desk to greet and direct visitors, assist with wayfinding, and support a positive customer experience while maintaining awareness of the entry area
- Control access by following visitor check-in and check-out processes, verifying credentials as required, issuing visitor badges as directed, and/or maintaining visitor and vendor logs
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts and assisting with scene management until additional resources arrive
- Monitor entry points and available systems such as CCTV and/or alarm panels as assigned, report irregular conditions, and complete required reports and documentation
