Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- Able to pass a drug screen as permitted by law
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment
- Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only
- Allied Universal considers applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws
Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in security or related field preferred
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during night shifts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and site personnel
Job Duties
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, respond to emergency situations when appropriate
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points at the location
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns and support overall operations at the logistics and distribution location
