Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- ability to pass extensive screening
- valid driver’s license
- clean motor vehicle record
- state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
- 32 hours of BSIS security training or willingness to complete
- flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to travel to nearby locations (Pismo Beach and Santa Barbara areas)
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- ability to pass an extensive screening process
- prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
- possession of a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and completion of 32 hours of BSIS security trainings
- willingness to obtain additional security training during the hiring process
Job Duties
- Monitor the premises to ensure security
- conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
- control access points and verify identities
- respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
- write detailed reports on events and incidents
- collaborate with authorities during serious situations
- ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
