Job Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control or badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
Job Duties
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity
- Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers as needed
- Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted or operational areas
