Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and complete production sheets
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to work schedules and department protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience
  • Culinary experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Responsible for safety and sanitation as well as preparation and distribution of menu items for assigned work areas
  • Notifies and communicates any physical plant hazards to supervisors
  • Ensures quality, quantity, temperature and appearance of food produced meets departmental and regulatory standards
  • Adheres to established production and service procedures and ensures all food items are produced and/or dispatches in a timely manner and in accordance to department protocols
  • Follows standardized recipes and completes production sheets for all menu items
  • Adheres to work schedules with regard to work days and job assignments as instructed by supervisors
  • Successfully completes annual physical examination
