Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience with electric pallet jacks or similar machinery
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong mathematical and logical reasoning skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with basic computer and communication tools
- Ability to meet productivity standards throughout the season
Job Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
- Preference for those with receiving, inventory, or stockkeeping experience
- Experience operating heavy machinery including electric pallet jacks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Logical mathematical reasoning
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use various computer software including email and communication devices
- Must meet productivity standards on an ongoing basis
Job Duties
- Verify and quantify incoming freight from the loading docks for accuracy and product integrity
- Utilize handheld scanning equipment to receive all purchase orders quickly and accurately
- Receiving and signing for deliveries
- Unloading deliveries from trucks
- Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items
- Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas
- Updating inventory with received items
- Maintaining records of orders and delivery details
- Count and verify large quantities of units received from multiple vendor partners
- Flexibility to work throughout multiple areas of the operation as needed
- Always maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to company safety standards and protocols
