Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate electronic devices including cash registers
- basic math skills for transaction processing
- ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations
- maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor
- merchandise new receipts and update signage
- process damages, testers, and returns to vendors
- promote Macy’s Loyalty program and thank customers sincerely
- collaborate with teammates to support store operations
- achieve daily sales goals through effective customer engagement
