Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 21 years
  • drug-free screening prior to employment and subject to random and incident screenings
  • possess class A or B CDL with tanker or combination tanker and hazardous endorsements
  • valid DOT medical certificate
  • experience driving manual 10-speed transmission or higher
  • maintain company insurance insurability
  • ability to work in elevated or confined spaces
  • ability to comprehend and follow safety instructions in English
  • pass substance abuse screening and background check
  • willingness to travel overnight
  • ability to perform technician duties within specified timeframes
  • physical ability to perform essential job functions including lifting, stooping, bending, and climbing
  • able to work in extreme environmental conditions
  • wear required protective gear
  • work extended hours and shifts

Job Qualifications

  • must be a minimum of 21 years old
  • completion of a drug-free screening prior to employment
  • possess and maintain a class A or B CDL license with tanker endorsement (N) or combination of tanker and hazardous (X) endorsement, air brakes, and current DOT medical certificate
  • experience driving manual 10-speed transmission or higher
  • maintain insurability under company insurance plan
  • general understanding of elevated or confined spaces, lock-out tag-out and crane safety
  • able to comprehend and understand English to comply with safety instructions
  • ability to pass substance abuse screening and background check
  • willing to travel overnight for assignments
  • ability to perform technician level 1 duties within 30 days and levels 2 and 3 within first year
  • essential physical ability to distinguish emergency signals and perform repetitive physical tasks such as sitting, lifting, stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and crawling
  • able to lift at least 40 pounds repeatedly
  • able to work in extreme heat, cold, dust, and wet conditions
  • able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters
  • must wear protective clothing as required
  • able to climb ladders and work from elevated heights and confined spaces
  • capable of working extended hours and variable shifts

Job Duties

  • travel out of town for a week or more at a time
  • ensure safety by complying with all work practices, rules, regulations, and safety policies
  • drive and operate CDL required equipment including roll-off trucks, flat bed trucks, vacuum trucks, and service trucks
  • perform pre and post trip inspections on units
  • properly document all company, federal, state, and customer paperwork as required
  • operate high-pressure water-blaster and vacuum equipment
  • perform field technician duties such as shoveling and tank cleaning
  • communicate effectively and professionally with on-site customer representatives
  • lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties safely and efficiently
  • troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs as needed
  • maintain equipment and company property in proper condition
  • understand and work in elevated or confined space entry areas with lock-out tag-out and crane safety training
