Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Four plus years in commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Willingness to live on-site during the summer camp season
- Physical ability to handle kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in commercial kitchens
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience in menu planning and cost control is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen operations and manage dining staff
- Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards
- Supervise meal preparation and menu execution
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and support kitchen team members
- Coordinate with camp management and other departments
- Handle on-site kitchen challenges and problem solving
