Job Duties

  • Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and travel locally to drive business and increase market share
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels including social media
  • Prepare company contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions
  • Work within business strategies and identify potential opportunities
  • Cooperate with other hotel departments to create exceptional guest experiences and sales programs
  • Attend sales events as required
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for Sales Director and senior management
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries
  • Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the sales team
