Job Duties
- Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
- Develop customer accounts and travel locally to drive business and increase market share
- Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients
- Develop and implement creative local marketing channels including social media
- Prepare company contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions
- Work within business strategies and identify potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other hotel departments to create exceptional guest experiences and sales programs
- Attend sales events as required
- Produce accurate and timely reports for Sales Director and senior management
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries
- Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the sales team
