Job Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs
  • ability to see, hear, talk, sit, stand, handle objects, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift items as needed with or without reasonable accommodations

  • flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • A college degree or two years of hotel experience
  • previous experience in a similar or related position
  • special certifications in hospitality sales (preferred)
  • strong negotiation and communication skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • knowledge of hotel sales operations

Job Duties

  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities
  • manage and respond to incoming RFPs and inquiries
  • negotiate and execute group contracts
  • ensure clear communication of client expectations with hotel operations team
  • cultivate relationships within niche markets
  • tailor proposals to client needs
  • coordinate with hotel teams to ensure successful events
