Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends
- Basic computer skills for POS operation
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
Job Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and employees
- Basic communication and organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through adherence to company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation and stock arrangement
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns
- Participate in physical inventories and assist in shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions accurately and in compliance with policy
- Check shoes for matching pairs during cashier duties
