Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • 3 to 5 years of related logistics, customer service, or sales support experience
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • highly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • strong capability to multitask and finish assigned projects before deadlines
  • strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • self-motivated and effective in a team setting and individually
  • ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment

Job Duties

  • Receive, process, and enter customer orders into internal control software
  • issue invoices
  • assist customers with issues, answer questions, and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers/vendors
  • track shipments, perform traces as requested/needed, and update relevant parties
  • follow up with management on irregularities or missed orders
  • follow up on or assist in post-customer billing and accounting issues and/or procedures
  • verify incoming and outgoing shipments
  • inspect and ensure the accuracy of all logistics-related documents
  • process relevant paperwork for import/export such as BL and commercial invoices
  • place orders with suppliers as requested
  • arrange transportation relevant to distribution and shipping
  • obtain rates, shipping schedules, and vessel space
  • check and compare freight charges for accuracy and competitiveness
  • process payments, prepare receipts, and initiate billing procedures
  • file insurance claims
  • monitor credit limits on each sale
  • liaise between sales staff and customers
  • monitor invoices and orders
  • ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained
  • track and expedite inventory for delivery
  • organize inventory
  • report any inventory discrepancy to management
