Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions including use of hands and arms for chopping, stirring, and carrying
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Ability to walk stairs and use a step ladder
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, using equipment or assistance when handling heavier loads
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable to varying temperature zones including hot kitchens and cold storage
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety
  • Awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants is highly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and develop teams
  • Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills
  • Financial acumen including budget management and cost control
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding food quality and safety

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and quality control
  • Manage financial performance including budgets and cost control
  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and staff
  • Lead and develop the restaurant team, managing performance and fostering a positive work culture
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining high service standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
