Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and understand measurements
- Able to read recipes
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in a moderately noisy, hot or humid environment
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines consistently

Job Duties
- Wash, cut and/or cook vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, poultry and/or seafood to prepare for use
- Prepares and arranges vegetables and fruits for salads according to recipe and garnishes using hand and electric food service equipment
- Set up of salad bar, cleans equipment, work area, utensils, and refrigerator
- Uses prep lists to determine production for the day and prepares ingredients for and mixes salad dressings and sauces
- Maintains a fresh and attractive salad bar as well as the organization and cleanliness of the restaurant
- Assigned to other and/or multiple departments, besides primary job code
- Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary or important to operations
- May have job duties altered, reassigned, or transferred by management
