Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Valid California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and measurements
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
  • Physical ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Wash, cut and/or cook vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, poultry and/or seafood to prepare for use
  • Prepare and arrange vegetables and fruits for salads according to recipe and garnish using hand and electric food service equipment
  • Set up of salad bar, clean equipment, work area, utensils, and refrigerator
  • Use prep lists to determine production for the day and prepare ingredients for and mix salad dressings and sauces
  • Maintain a fresh and attractive salad bar as well as the organization and cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Assist different departments and teammates beyond primary job responsibilities as needed
  • Participate in special projects and assist with other company operations as directed
