Job Requirements
- Physical ability to perform job duties including climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and finger use
- meet Department of Transportation regulations including obtaining a DOT medical card
- hold a valid driver’s license
- be at least 21 years old
- obtain Chauffeur License if applicable based on job location (IN, MI, TN)
- have 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- proficiency in English to communicate effectively with customers and comply with official requirements
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- valid driver’s license
- ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card
- successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is in IN, MI, TN
- ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods, perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
Job Duties
- Provide vacation relief for Route Sales Professionals and Loaders
- assist the Sales Leadership Team in day-to-day operations and/or issues as needed
- assist with the training of new Route Sales Professionals
- deliver fresh product to existing customers on open routes until new RSPs are trained
- assist with rack resets
- partner with Route Sales Professionals to create alignment in account chains
- perform route operation activities including ordering and distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning, and meeting customer expectations
- communicate with customers to assist them in understanding promotional activity and delivery expectations
- ensure product distribution meets customer satisfaction and contract requirements
- assist in customer relations including selling new products and gaining space/position
- provide high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise
- adapt work location based on staffing needs
