Job Requirements
- Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license
- Valid medical examiner's card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications
- Minimum one year of professional driving experience within the last five years or accredited driving school diploma with experience
- Clean driving record with no more than two convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets
- Ability to lift 25 to 75 lbs routinely and up to over 125 lbs with equipment
- Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours
- Frequent bending required
Job Qualifications

- One year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years with a clean driving record, or diploma from an accredited driving school plus one year of prior driving experience within the last five years
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs and occasionally lift over 76 lbs with material handling equipment
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to hazardous materials handling
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt
- Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle and delivery area
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure safe and timely deliveries
