Job Requirements

  • CDL B or Class 3 license
  • DOT medical card qualification
  • Clean driving record with no excessive speeding violations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
  • Physical stamina for climbing, standing, walking and various weather conditions
  • Minimum age of 21 years old
  • Commitment to company core values and safety procedures
  • Ability to use manual pallet jacks to transport heavy loads up to 2,500 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of route or box delivery driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license with at least five years driving experience
  • Proven track record of meeting safety, quality and customer service metrics
  • Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts preferred
  • Ability to use electronic proof of delivery (POD) devices or tablets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, bilingual skills a plus
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Good geographical knowledge of delivery area after training

Job Duties

  • Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
  • Complete daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections
  • Deliver products to customer locations ensuring timeliness and customer satisfaction
  • Collect and track customer returns according to service agreements
  • Load, unload and secure merchandise to prevent damage
  • Complete daily route paperwork and communicate any obstacles
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN practices
