Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with hotel operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Understanding of financial and operational performance metrics
  • Ability to handle employee and guest concerns professionally
  • Knowledge of brand service culture and hospitality standards

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments
  • Lead the rooms operations team by translating goals related to guest tracking and productivity
  • Create and nurture a motivating, empowering, and teamwork-focused environment
  • Monitor and improve guest and employee satisfaction results
  • Manage scheduling against guest and operational goals
  • Perform hourly job functions as needed
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings with staff on a semiannual basis
