Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Availability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work as needed on 2nd shift
- Ability to handle food and cash safely
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple retail food service positions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions
- Ability to operate short order cooking equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Communicate and serve the customers in a friendly, courteous and effective manner
- Produce food items the way the customer requests and in a safe and sanitary manner
- Operate the cash register, short order cook, stocking and rotating of food products
- Keep the work place clean, neat and in safe conditions
- Possess the flexibility in schedule to work any of the four positions within the retail operation and have the knowledge to execute those positions
- Work independently with minimal direction
- Perform all necessary duties to serve food
- Execute tasks to assure cleanliness and quality in food production and serving areas
- Maintain all equipment in sanitary condition
- Handle cash and receipts according to department procedures
- Cook and assemble food items properly following customer requests
- Adhere to Serv Safe and HACCP guidelines
- Store, date, and label leftover food according to procedures
- Rotate food items for freshness and safety with minimal food waste
- Maintain clean and safe work environment and report unsafe conditions
- Fill out daily food requisitions
- Troubleshoot complaints with leadership
