Job Requirements
- Medium work requiring exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, lift, stand, and walk during entire shift
- Must convey information clearly
- Must listen and understand concerns of co-workers and guests
- Long hours may be required averaging 36-40 hours per week
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- Willingness to comply with management directives
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Effective listening and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies
- Pick up trash
- Change linen and make the bed
- Clean entire bathroom
- Sweep and dust guest room
- Clean windows and balcony
- Retrieve, stock, and restock housekeeping cart
- Receive assigned section and supplies
- Turn in keys and unused supplies
- Respond to guest requests
- Report guest issues and complaints
- Report missing articles or damage
- Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities
- Provide assistance as needed
