Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform major life activities including standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending stretching reaching crawling kneeling
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to speak read or understand English
  • Must display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • Must comply with security clearance per company policy

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging housing hospitals or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Professionalism honesty and trustworthiness
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures
  • Understanding of safety and security measures
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy
  • Ability to follow cleaning procedures systematically
  • Ability to assist with guest issues while maintaining a hospitable attitude

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner following company standards
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest-ready status
  • Return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training and checklist
  • Report discrepancies to Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in maintaining other areas of the hotel in a clean and orderly condition
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
  • Adhere to grooming and uniform standards daily
