Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and crawling
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Ability to hear and see clearly
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests
- Must pass security clearance as per company policy
- Honest and trustworthy character traits
- Ability to work any shift including weekends
- Must be physically present at the hotel
- Ability to comply with all housekeeping standards and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and discretion
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures
- Understanding of sanitation and cost control handling of linens and supplies
- Familiarity with safety and security measures
- Ability to maintain designated cleaning times
- Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
- Professional and hospitable attitude towards guests
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic computer skills for daily operational systems
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms adhering to LBA standards
- Use and organize cleaning supplies and equipment properly
- Follow all cleaning procedures as specified in housekeeping training checklist
- Report discrepancies and hazardous conditions immediately
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining other hotel areas including public spaces and back of house
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Maintain professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- Adhere to safety and security policies
- Use computer systems like Quore and Hotel Effectiveness for daily tasks
- Perform cleaning tasks within specified time and accuracy constraints
- Follow general cleaning procedures every 90 days
- Perform additional duties as assigned within capabilities
