Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation for commuting
- authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- pass criminal and driving background checks and pre-employment drug testing
- physical ability to lift 80-100 lbs repeatedly
- basic math skills for inventory counts
- ability to work at heights on sloped roofs
- wear appropriate personal protective equipment including harness
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- availability to work Monday through Friday with potential overtime
- embrace company culture of safety, reliability, and teamwork
- good balance and comfort working at heights
- ability to operate machinery safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 6 months to 1 year of work experience in labor, warehouse, delivery, or construction
- proficiency in verbal and written English communication
- ability to read work and shipping orders
- safety awareness and knowledge of OSHA guidelines
- experience with forklift or material handling equipment preferred
- proficiency in Spanish preferred
- vocational training or certification in construction or material handling preferred
- forklift certification preferred
Job Duties
- Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks
- ensure all items are handled with care
- follow safety guidelines and procedures
- aid in scaffolding assembly
- inspect equipment and report issues
- operate conveyor belt systems when certified
- verify and reconcile material orders
- provide service to roofing contractors
- adhere to OSHA safety regulations
- work with drivers and team members
- inspect delivery sites for hazards
- assist drivers with vehicle maneuvering
