Job Requirements
- rn degree
- current nursing license for applicable state
- bsl certification within 30 days of hire
- ability to meet u.s. employment and eligibility requirements
- proficiency in iv insertion
- ability to calculate medication doses and iv pump rates
- comfort working with minimal medical staff present
- ability to respond calmly to infusion reactions
Job Qualifications
- registered nurse (rn) degree
- bsn preferred
- current nursing license for applicable state
- bsl certification required within 30 days of hire
- proficiency in iv insertion
- ability to calculate medication doses and iv pump rates accurately
- comfort using multiple types of technology and software
- effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- start intravenous lines
- mix, prepare, and administer infusion therapies
- accurately calculate medication doses and IV pump rates
- monitor and respond to infusion reactions
- provide personalized patient care in a private, supportive environment
- maintain accurate patient records using healthcare software
- collaborate effectively with team members to enhance patient experience
