Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration, finance and accounting, economics, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 3 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- Or 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business administration, finance and accounting, economics, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 1 year experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software

Job Qualifications

- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with reservation and demand forecasting systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of hotel sales strategies and market dynamics
- Proficiency in data analysis and revenue management tools
Job Duties
- Manage room authorizations, rates and restrictions
- Manage function space authorizations, restrictions and rental
- Manage rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue
- Maintain transient rooms inventory for the hotel and maximize transient revenue
- Release group rooms back into general inventory ensuring clean booking windows
- Implement and modify sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems
- Prepare sales strategy critiques
- Monitor transient and group inventory daily ensuring straight-line availability and revenue maximization
- Communicate and implement sales strategies and rate restrictions according to market conditions
- Support cluster selling initiatives with reservation centers
- Use reservation and demand forecasting systems to control selling strategies
- Ensure property diagnostic processes are used to maximize revenue and profits
- Initiate, implement and evaluate revenue tests
- Ensure compliance with company promotions and eCommerce channels
- Maintain brand strategies to increase revenue per available room and per available square foot
- Understand relationships between sales, reservations and property management systems
- Participate in regional reviews
- Achieve and exceed performance, budget and team goals
- Plan, organize, prioritize and coordinate activities
- Establish long-range objectives and strategies
- Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems and processes
- Meet needs of key stakeholders including owners, corporate and guests
- Explore opportunities that drive profit and innovation
- Compile, analyze and monitor actual sales against projections
- Create and update long-range and weekly forecasts for rooms and catering
- Conduct and refine sales strategy analysis
- Maintain accurate reservation system data
- Analyze data to identify trends and obstacles to goals
- Generate transient segment updates
- Assist with account diagnostics
- Provide revenue analysis expertise to leadership teams
- Prepare revenue, profit, demand and occupancy forecasts
- Prepare revenue and profit opportunity analyses
- Manage all revenue, profit and demand data for rooms and function space
- Develop and use analytical tools to maximize revenues and profits
- Analyze information to choose best solutions and solve problems
- Use computer systems to process information
- Generate timely and accurate reports and presentations
- Develop and manage internal stakeholder relationships
- Act as liaison between properties and corporate systems support when necessary
