Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children’s events
  • retail or customer service experience
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy items and access high shelves
  • good communication skills
  • ability to handle job stress and work well with others
  • must be able to perform physical tasks required in a retail environment

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage guests by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities like face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup plans for events
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers locate products and provide shopping assistance
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks
  • perform merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in store cleanliness activities
