Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous event coordination experience preferred
  • Retail or customer service experience required
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact positively with customers and team members
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, carrying, and stretching
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed

  • Experience planning and coordinating events especially children’s parties
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Retail and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to engage and work effectively with guests of all ages
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Experience working with children and children’s events

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages to create fun and creative environments
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding event details
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
  • Create backup or emergency plans for events
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • Assist customers with shopping and locating products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout service
  • Promote and enroll customers in rewards and credit card programs
  • Educate customers about Voice of Customer surveys
  • Support omni-channel retail processes such as BOPIS and SFS
  • Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandising
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and execution of planograms
  • Support safety and shrink prevention programs
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and policies
  • Model positive behavior and respect in the workplace
  • Cross-trained in custom framing sales and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, and restroom maintenance
