Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience
- or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to two (2) years of high school education
- at least two (2) years of customer service experience
- one (1) year of front desk experience in the hospitality industry
- familiarity with resort check-in software
- available to work both night and weekend shifts
- previous experience in a retail environment preferred
- training will be provided
- able to assist customers/guests when needed
- organized and able to follow a schedule
- able to follow verbal directions
- ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
- physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two (2) years customer service experience
- at least one (1) year of front desk or hospitality experience
- knowledge of resort check-in software
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to mentor and coach staff
- aptitude for problem-solving and conflict resolution
- organizational and multitasking abilities
- familiarity with retail merchandising and sales strategies
Job Duties
- build a good rapport with the regional store manager to collaborate on all store-related goals and initiatives
- supervise, train, and assist store employees in customer service, store maintenance, and product promotions
- exude strong leadership when overseeing employees within the store department
- coach and mentor underperforming store staff members
- understand the overall needs of the resort by collaborating with the resort manager
- plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store
- develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, create store policies and marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base
- maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment
- welcome visitors and assign locations according to guests’ booking
- provide additional information about the resort and its amenities
- make certain that customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient
- ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively
- collaborate with resort housekeeping staff to ensure cabins/park models are cleaned, organized, and furnished prior to guests’ arrival
- update Camplife records of payments and bookings
- keep all public spaces neat and tidy
- report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job
