Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of relevant hospitality or food service experience
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • knowledge of restaurant cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
  • Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness Certification required within 30 days
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • ability to stand for up to 10-12 hours per shift
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • effective verbal communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of successful hospitality or food service industry experience
  • ability to lead a team positively
  • history of maintaining high restaurant cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
  • understanding of shift flow management
  • certified Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness within 30 days of hire
  • proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • lead a shift meeting or exceeding established sales goals
  • develop and support World of Beer hourly staff
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
  • train employees on front-of-house and some back-of-house stations
  • ensure adherence to Responsible Vending and safety policies
  • perform accurate and safe cash handling
  • communicate effectively with management and staff
  • plan shifts and ensure adequate staffing
  • provide ongoing training, feedback, and support to employees
  • follow WOB Training Programs and Employee Handbook policies
  • lead by example with professionalism
  • use the "Compass" method to manage shift flow
  • open or close the location safely
  • promote WOB brand and community events
  • ensure compliance with federal and local laws
  • promptly resolve customer and employee issues
  • meet reporting responsibilities punctually
