Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be physically able to perform job duties including standing and walking for long periods
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance

- Previous restaurant or bar service experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury-level service
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional service to all guests with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
- Guide guests through the menu and whisky offerings, providing expert pairing recommendations
- Present food and beverages with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet Proper Grit's luxury standards
- Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs, providing recommendations and assistance as appropriate
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, busers, and other servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with discretion and courtesy
