Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or pastry work preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of food safety regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Willingness to follow company policies and guidelines

Job Duties

  • Prepare a wide range of food products and pastries according to Urban Plates recipes and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep and pastry stations
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
  • Assist in inventory control and proper storage of ingredients
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to meet daily production needs
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to broaden culinary skills
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to food preparation and safety
