Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to the location
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures
- Basic maintenance skills
- Knowledge of equipment operation such as floor scrubbers

- Prior experience in food service or cleaning preferred
Job Duties
- Maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using the correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures at all times
- Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
- Demonstrates knowledge of utilization of the Kaivac Univac for mopping, scrubbing, and drying floors in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms
- Learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used, such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc
- Mops spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
- Cleans the customer service areas by following the proper procedures, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
- Follows proper procedures for maintaining sidewalks and parking lot sanitation to include sweeping, scrubbing, etc
- Notifies the management person on duty of any leaks or equipment failures such as refrigerators/freezers not maintaining proper temperatures
- Disposes of all trash properly
