Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a related supervisory role
  • Food safety certification
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Knowledge of restaurant operational processes
  • Availability to train and mentor team members
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks and financial accountability
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred
  • Food safety certification
  • Strong leadership and team coaching skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to handle customer and employee concerns effectively
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and sales management
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Basic understanding of financial and administrative processes
  • Commitment to upholding company culture and values

Job Duties

  • Learn and support our You First culture and core values
  • Put supervisory skills to work ensuring daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
  • Follow recipes precisely to maintain food quality
  • Understand and strive to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Implement the 10 Commitments in daily operations
  • Respond urgently to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • Maintain food safety certification and coach safe food handling practices
  • Scout for and interview potential team members
  • Secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
  • Understand key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • Address inappropriate behavior immediately and investigate as needed
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • Recognize and reward outstanding performance
  • Account for all daily revenues and deposits
  • Complete administrative duties and submit paperwork on time
