Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in restaurant management or a related field
- Current food management certification
- Flexibility to work schedule including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work up to 30 miles from the primary location
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand and move around the restaurant for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies
- Ability to conduct employee evaluations and handle performance issues
- Availability to attend required meetings and training sessions
- Willingness to relocate if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Current food management certification
- Demonstrated ownership mentality
- Flexibility for scheduling
- Willingness to transfer to different geographic locations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Adept at ordering and formulating pars
- Basic math skills including counting currency and using a calculator
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding and facilitation of proper health code standards
- Ability to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to stand and move at a moderate pace for up to four hours at a time
- Stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- Coordination to operate kitchen equipment
- Adherence to Flanigan’s dress and grooming policies
Job Duties
- Communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
- Read and write notes in the manager’s daily log
- Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
- Read the weekly memo
- Complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
- Communicate with all managers on duty when shifts are completed
- Report all events honestly and accurately, both positive and negative
- Comply with all policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings
- Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
