Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew preparation, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
- Track and reduce waste levels
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- Monitor product quality through customer interactions and crew performance feedback
- Take service times and determine efficiency
- Train crew to respond promptly and courteously to customer needs
- Take corrective action to improve service times
- Establish and communicate daily sales goals
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Follow cleaning plans and correct deficiencies
- Train crew on new products and orientation
- Assist General Manager in training new managers
- Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
- Recognize high-performing crew members
- Ensure shift crew meets preparation and production goals
- Monitor inventory and complete physical inventory
- Intake weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- Follow priorities and plans established by General Manager
- Ensure proper execution of standards and procedures
- Manage shift quality standards
- Address operational problems proactively
- Follow company operations manual and safety policies
- Manage cash control and report accidents
- Resolve operational issues promptly
- Use guidelines for effective shift management
- Perform administrative duties
- Write crew schedules
- Comply with company standards for crew benefits
- Follow preventative maintenance programs
- Train crew to maintain equipment
