Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedural execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plans
  • Monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality by engaging with customers and evaluating crew performance
  • Take service times and assess efficiency
  • Train crew on customer service and courtesy
  • Take corrective action to improve service times
  • Train crew to solicit customer feedback
  • Establish and communicate daily sales goals
  • Train crew to maintain cleanliness during shifts
  • Follow and enforce restaurant cleaning plans
  • Direct cleaning corrections
  • Train crew on new products and position skills
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Use Crew Orientation and Training process
  • Cross-train crew for coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Follow prep and production flowcharts
  • Monitor inventory for product availability
  • Complete physical inventory
  • Manage weekly food deliveries
  • Secure cash, product, and equipment
  • Follow established restaurant priorities and plans
  • Ensure standards and procedures are properly executed during shifts
  • Manage shift to achieve quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • Take proactive actions for issues
  • Follow Operations manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Comply with cash control policies
  • Report accidents
  • Address health department operational issues

  • Perform administrative duties
