Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence including prior management or supervisory role
- food handler permit
- TIPS certification
- DABS background check
- proven ability to manage a fast-paced on-mountain restaurant
- ability to interact positively with guests, employees, and all Snowbird departments
- strong time management skills with the ability to balance guest service, employee support, and administrative responsibilities during operational hours
- strong interpersonal skills including guest service, active listening, communication, and conflict resolution
- must be able to ski or snowboard confidently on intermediate to advanced terrain to access the restaurant and travel safely on the mountain
- positive attitude, professional demeanor, and desire to contribute to Snowbird's success with the potential for continued seasonal or long-term growth opportunities

Job Duties
- Direct daily restaurant operations by managing staff, caring for guests, and resolving any issues quickly and professionally
- uphold the standards of a world-class dining operation unique to Snowbird with excellence in service, presentation, and guest interaction
- conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with staff, meet regularly with back-of-house teams to maintain communication and coordination
- lead team meetings and communicate with directors via end-of-day reports
- oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing team development ensuring adherence to service procedures and appearance standards
- manage and maintain accurate inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and keep storage and backstock areas clean and compliant
- support accurate daily recordkeeping by monitoring sales, attendance, hours worked, and tip-out distribution
- create and submit bi-weekly staff schedules adhering to labor guidelines
- ensure safety practices for employees and guests, follow company and state alcohol service regulations
- oversee overall building upkeep and cleanliness and coordinate with appropriate departments for maintenance
- utilize digital inventory and communication systems effectively
- perform other duties assigned by management
