Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma, G.E.D or equivalent
  • restaurant manager training completion
  • ServSafe certification
  • 1+ years associate manager experience or 2 years first assistant manager experience for internal promote
  • 3 years management experience with P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • 100% workstation certification
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to perform basic math
  • analytical and organizational skills
  • self-starter with initiative
  • proficient computer skills
  • valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle use
  • physical ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
  • ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer keyboard
  • able to drive motor vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 1+ years experience as an associate manager or 2 years as a first assistant manager for internal promote
  • minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • ability to complete restaurant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in basic math concepts
  • analytical and organizational skills
  • proficient with personal computers and software
  • valid driver’s license and insurance
  • demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels to ensure development and talent retention
  • implement training systems for employees on workstations
  • identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • ensure execution of My Promise to You and the Service Profit Chain
  • create an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment
  • motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • treat all employees with respect and dignity
  • recognize and reward employees regularly
  • manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence in operational performance
  • ensure excellent guest service and food quality
  • review and improve practices for guest experience
  • maintain visibility and interaction with guests
  • handle guest concerns and complaints professionally
  • maintain brand image through cleanliness and maintenance
  • use management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
  • develop action plans for improvement
  • focus on increasing sales and profitability
  • monitor costs and adherence to budget
