Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to perform walkthroughs and assist staff
- Compliance with local employment laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in training and development of staff
- Proficient in scheduling and inventory management
Job Duties
- Oversees the general functioning of the dining room during meal service and bar during operating hours
- Organizes work schedules for employees ensuring appropriate coverage
- Estimates and orders food, liquors, wines, or other beverages and supplies
- Interviews, selects, counsels, appraises performance, disciplines employees
- Makes recommendations for hiring and terminations
- Conducts departmental orientation for new employees
- Conducts walk through prior to opening checking for proper maintenance and set up
- Ensures facility is clean, organized, and prepared
- Monitors meals served according to policies and procedures
- Assists servers and bus persons to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitors food appearance, temperature, sanitary and quality standards, and portion control
- Inspects establishment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Completes all administrative requirements timely
- Oversees execution of banquet functions if applicable
