Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years management experience in high-volume full-service restaurants
  • High school diploma
  • ServSafe certification
  • Proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and security
  • Ability to apply common sense to multi-step instructions
  • Ability to manage changing situations
  • Mathematical skills for cash handling and deposits
  • Completion of required food and alcohol service training
  • Effective English communication
  • Knowledge of office software
  • Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform manual tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Prior management experience in high-volume full-service restaurant
  • Knowledge of food and beverage quality standards
  • Strong people skills and leadership ability
  • Experience with profit and loss and inventory control
  • Ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • High school diploma
  • ServSafe certification
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Effective communication in English
  • Spanish language skills are helpful

Job Duties

  • Manage shifts including decision making, scheduling, and upholding standards
  • Ensure a safe working environment to reduce injury risks
  • Provide daily direction on operational and procedural issues
  • Ensure positive guest experience and respond to complaints
  • Teach, motivate, coach, and discipline staff
  • Train and develop hourly employees with regular coaching
  • Recruit staff meeting brand image and standards
  • Hire, supervise, counsel, and train hourly employees
  • Complete accident/incident reports
  • Oversee financial duties including invoices, payroll, and reporting
  • Manage food and beverage cost estimates and ordering
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and professional appearance
  • Enforce sanitary practices and operational standards
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service
  • Promote the restaurant as the best in its class
