Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • Review budget and profit and loss monthly
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels and minimize through monitoring crew procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit problems to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality by engaging with customers and managing crew performance
  • Take service times to determine efficiency
  • Train crew in responsiveness and customer courtesy
  • Take corrective actions to improve service times
  • Solicit customer feedback
  • Establish and communicate daily service goals
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • Follow cleaning plans and correct deficiencies
  • Train crew on new products and initial position skills
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew to cover positions efficiently
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Follow prep and production flowcharts
  • Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
  • Intake weekly food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, products, and equipment
  • Follow established restaurant priorities and plans
  • Ensure standards and procedures are properly executed
  • Manage shifts to achieve quality, service, and cleanliness at 80 percent or better
  • Take action when problems are anticipated or identified
  • Follow procedures outlined in the Operations manual
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Follow company cash control policies
  • Report accidents accurately and promptly
  • Resolve operational issues identified by Health Department Inspectors
  • Manage shifts using "Managing Better Shifts" guidelines
  • Perform administrative duties required by the General or District Manager
  • Prepare crew schedules
  • Comply with company standards for crew benefits
  • Follow Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Train and monitor crew for equipment maintenance
