Job Requirements

  • 2 years of management experience in hospitality or similar industry
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, restaurant, or culinary management preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Passion for creating and personalizing guest experiences
  • Food handler certification if applicable
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Daily evaluation of restaurant service performance
  • Coordination of timely food production
  • Participate in evaluation of food products and kitchen employee performance
  • Develop selection and pricing strategy for liquors and wines
  • Assist General Manager in financial objective building and budget process
  • Help meet financial targets through marketing plan execution
  • Manage cost control focusing on sales and payroll
  • Communicate with management, employees, and accounting staff
  • Provide regular evaluations via quarterly Kimpton Check-In
  • Implement ongoing training for management and staff
  • Ensure daily cleanliness of restaurant areas
  • Supervise all non-supervisory service employees
  • Conduct interviews, hiring, and training
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise and coach employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
